The China Giant Panda Protection and Research Center in Sichuan has signed an agreement with Qianwei Fengsheng Paper to offer panda droppings and food residue to the company to help it generate more of its bamboo-based tissue.
Panda droppings are called "green balls," and after a bit dry, you see the broken green leaves as broken bamboo leaves. An adult giant panda consumes 12-15 kilograms of bamboo daily. After Panda digestion, these foods will become more than 10 kg of excrement. In addition, the fed bamboo will not be completely eaten (pandas will not eat all the bamboo leaves provided to them), and most will even become a residue. Each giant panda produces about 50 kg of waste bamboo leaves per day.
According to the agreement, food residues and droppings of the Panda Panda, Panda and Pifengxia Giant Panda Base will be recycled in the future through selecting and washing, steaming and high temperature sterilization and the like to extract plant fibers to produce tissue such as box tissues, toilet rolls, pocket tissues and the like.
